Sending Warm Hugs

Winter is coming… but we’re not quite finished with Fall yet. This adorable Greeting Card, Sending Warm Hugs, is part of the new Falling into Winter Collection. I designed this fun Collection to help bridge the gap as we make the inevitable transition into Winter. You can feel the nip in the air… the first hint of snow on the horizon… time to break out the sweaters and hot drinks! Zebra and Fox are here to help you send some warm fuzzies perfect for any occasion, like sending a birthday wish, saying hello or just because!

These furry friends were hand-stamped then coloured in using specialty alcohol-based markers. I used an ink-sponging technique and stamps to create the autumn-hued backdrop. Next is another piece of cardstock that I stamped to look like natural wood-grain. I cut everything out then built it all up in layers for a nifty 3-D effect.

I think this card is destined to bring a lot of smiles and will provide continued enjoyment for years to come. The inside of this card is blank so there’s loads of room to write your special message. This 4.25 x 5.5” card comes with a crisp white envelope that you can mail with regular letter-mail, too.
