It’s Bear Smelling Lilacs Season

Nothing says Spring is finally here like seeing a bear smelling lilacs… or anyone smelling lilacs… or me smelling lilacs… sigh. I love lilacs! This adorable greeting card is perfect for pretty much any occasion you can think of. You can use it for celebrating a birthday, congratulations, welcome baby, retirement or simply sending a Spring hello.

I made this card by hand-stamping the lilac-loving bear then painted it with water-colours. The background was created by sponging white inky clouds onto some balmy blue card-stock. Then everything was cut out and layered for a fun 3-D effect. “Oh happy day” pretty much says it all, don’t you think?!

This 4.24 x 5.5″ also comes with a crisp white envelope (A2) that can be mailed with a regular stamp. This is one of those cards that can be enjoyed for seasons to come… I can picture it keeping company with fresh seasonal flowers, tucked onto a shelf or propped up on a bedside table.
